The full version of the manifesto: fourteen laws signed by the founder, the scientific foundations behind them, and the instrument that embodies them. Whoever writes the rules of a category leads it. Everyone else falls in line.

The Fourteen Laws

  1. Electric silence will kill more motorsport brands than red balance sheets.
  2. Electric silence is the castration of motoring.
  3. Silence wasn’t chosen: it was sold.
  4. A future that only takes away isn’t progress: it’s a shorter inventory.
  5. Every automaker has a legal team protecting the logo. None has an engineer protecting the sound. Yet the customer recognizes the sound before the logo.
  6. Automakers pay studios to invent fake sounds for their electric cars, while throwing away the real sounds they already own.
  7. A 126-decibel speaker faking a V8 isn’t innovation: it’s karaoke.
  8. Today you pay extra to get silence. Tomorrow you’ll pay extra to get sound.
  9. Every engine discontinued without being recorded is a language dying without a dictionary.
  10. Automotive sound engineering today is where aerodynamics stood in the Sixties: everyone knows it exists, no one has built a competitive edge on it yet.
  11. When every car has the same silence, there will be only one way left not to be a commodity: having a voice. Voices can’t be imported.
  12. I’m not an enemy of electric: I’m an enemy of amnesia. Electric can be the future of driving. The engine remains the future of feeling.

The physics behind the laws

Laws 13 and 14 aren’t metaphors: they’re engine physics, codified in the reference technical literature. TurboSymphony™ turns it into sound engineering.

Law 13 · The pulse

An engine’s timbre isn’t born from volume: it’s born from the steepness of the pulse. The steeper the pressure front, the higher the harmonics living in its voice.

Law 14 · The geometry

A duct doesn’t carry sound: it sculpts it. Every change in cross-section reflects an exact fraction of the wave — the geometry is already a signature.

R = (A₂−A₁)/(A₂+A₁)

Two identical engines with different ducts have different spectra — that is, different voices: it’s the tuned-duct principle behind every competition exhaust.

The complete wind instrument

In TurboSymphony™, the engine is a complete wind instrument. This isn’t a marketing metaphor: it’s a technical map, organ by organ.

Combustion → the air from the lungs

The thrust that generates the raw note: rich in harmonics, ready to be sculpted.

Intake trumpets → the mouthpiece

Where the breath takes shape before becoming voice.

Exhaust megaphone → the bell

Projects the voice and signs its presence.

Valve timing → the phrasing

Decides when the note enters and how long it’s held.

dB killer → the mute

Inserted, it softens the voice; removed step by step, it releases the scream — from straight/cup to Harmon “wah-wah”: the theatrical gesture of the climax.

In brass instruments, the tube resonates and locks the lips onto its note. In the engine, the valve opens when the camshaft commands it: the duct colors the timbre, but only the RPM decides the pitch. This is the control TurboSymphony™ exercises, rev by rev, when the engine becomes an instrument.
